The reason whole oils are used rather than cheaper or out of date conventional oils produced to a price is that the properties of the oils used for aromatherapy may depend on molecules present in the oils in tiny quantities. Some molecules are very tiny and within 18 months many have oxidised.

For 35 years we have endeavoured to create products which are as natural as possible and as long lived as practical. After all it is possible to add essential oils to cream from the fridge to create a nourishing moisture cream but it will last you only a few days.
